Protected health information (PHI)
When MEDIXI performs billing, coding, credentialing, or related services, we may handle protected health information as a Business Associate under HIPAA. PHI is used only to perform contracted services, is never sold, and is safeguarded with administrative, physical, and technical controls consistent with the HIPAA Security Rule.
How we use information
We use information to respond to inquiries, provide and improve our services, communicate about your account, meet legal and payer requirements, and secure our systems.
Sharing and disclosure
